Hello and welcome to my shop! All items are handmade by me with love and care. If you need to ask me anything that isn't covered in my shop policies then please feel free to contact me at any time.

I'm a visual artist and have been an art educator for 10 years. I am also a mother and run another etsy shop for my illustration and photography: https://www.etsy.com/shop/OliveTigerArtPrints.

ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS:
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. I believe in these principles and strive to make my shop "future friendly," from materials to powering the studio. Whenever possible, I use found and recycled materials, non-toxic glues and coatings, green methods, and a bit of elbow grease to create one of a kind objects. To ship, I use recycled containers or handmade boxes made of recycled materials. My home studio includes a vermicomposting bin and energy efficient lighting to reduce waste. I am dedicated to decreasing the shop's carbon footprint even more as the business grows.

FAIR LABOR:
All work is handmade by the artist and prices reflect a fair hourly wage. As we grow, we are committed to maintaining fair wages and employing local artisans.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
I have been creating art since childhood. I studied art in both college and graduate school, earning a BA in Studio Art and Geography and then an MFA in Visual Art. My environmental ethic, love of color, and excitement about making things with my hands guide my work. I'm currently a Teaching Artist in Los Angeles. I've also worked as an environmental community organizer, helped start a small public school, campaigned for clean energy, and directed art & environmental education programs in NYC. In 2010, my essay on art & climate change, “Creating a Fourth Culture,” was published in 20UNDER40: Re-Inventing the Arts and Arts Education for the 21st Century. If I'm not making art, you can often find me playing a game or collecting leaves with my 4 year old.

Custom and personalized orders

I love making custom artwork! Please contact me and I will work with you to make a unique item just for you. ♥

Price and timeline will be determined by quantity and size of artworks requested, materials used, and the design of the artwork. For custom orders, payment needs to be issued prior to beginning work on the order.

Custom Requests are considered Final Sale.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All original artwork is first wrapped in archival glassine, then carefully packaged with bubble wrap and cardboard to ensure it arrives safely. I include a Certificate of Authenticity with every artwork.

I also add a personal touch to make every package special, so don't be surprised if you find a handwritten note, special wrapping paper, or a small gift!

If you are purchasing this item as a gift and shipping directly to the recipient, please let me know the correct address.

If you would like to include a SPECIAL MESSAGE, please let me know when you place your order. I will also include gift wrapping for free.

Please note that in order to save paper, I normally do not include a printed invoice.

Damaged Items

If an item is damaged due to how it was handled through the course of shipping, contact me ASAP. If I am able to repair it, you can ship it back and I'll repair it for no additional charge. Before shipping back any damaged item, please contact me.

Damaged items must be reported within 2 days of receipt.

Depending on what specific part is broken, the item may be fixed, replaced, or (with buyer's consent) swapped with a similar piece. I will contact you with photos of any changes. While time for repair may vary, I will do my best to resolve the problem quickly and will contact you with any updates.
